How does our garden grow?

At this time tomorrow we’ll be on a plane headed to Sweden! In the meantime, I want to leave you with some pictures of our veggies that are growing up quite well in the backyard! I’m especially proud of my little sugar snap peas, which have grown several feet in the past few weeks, winding their way up bamboo sticks …

The artichoke is emerging from its pot. Eventually, I can’t wait to dip those artichoke leaves into some melted butter 🙂

The zucchini is finally starting to blossom:

… as are the heirloom tomatoes:

We’ll be back with pictures/updates from Sweden soon!

  1. I’m jealous! I attempted a garden last year but the 114 degree heat wave pretty much killed everything (and I had no idea what I was doing). Have an AMAZING time in Sweden! I loved Scandinavia.

  2. Beautiful photos and I would like a handful of those chili lime peanuts I see on the post below, YUM!

I also am jealous, I have not had a big yard in years for a garden, nor full sun for pot plants…um I mean potted plants like tomatoes, but thank goodness for local markets in the summer time…
